Early Onondaga Metal Shops Mark.  Overlapping "OMS".  Sometimes marked with a catalog number as seen here.

Benedict Studio mark.  This is an early mark which consists of an anvil and hammer with Benedict Studio written in script above and below the anvil.

This mark is for you real hard core collectors out there.  This mark shows up once in a while and I've seen in only a few pieces but I can attest to its authenticity.  At one point or another, Benedict Studios may have done some commissioned pieces for a furniture retailer which were then sold on their showroom floors to compliment their furniture.  The pieces that I've seen include trays and smoking items.  I'm still in the process of tracking down the name of the retailer.

This in another Benedict Studio mark which consists of two capital letter "B's" flanking a small bee inscribed within a diamond border.  Some pieces were also signed with a number to corespond to the catalog number much like the early OMS pieces.

Another version of the "B" mark.

Another late Benedict mark

Benedict's later mark that appears on items produced after the Arts and Crafts Era.  Some Greek and Egyptian revival pieces.

Another late Benedict mark.  This mark was used on cast pieces.

A later version of the Benedict mark.  This mark was used on cast pieces done in the style of Greek, Roman, and Egyptian revival.

Another version of the mark above.

Another version of the late Benedict mark.  This mark was used on Greek and Egyptian revival pieces as well as others that were mostly spun and devoid of hammering.  The decoration consisted mostly of cast ornimentation as well as some shallow relief carving.

An early version of the Benedict Mfg. mark.  This mark can be found on the early Victorian pieces.

Gustav Stickley shop mark.  A joiners compass stamped within a circle.  "THE CRAFTSMAN WORKSHOPS GUSTAV STICKLEY"

Another version of the Gustav Stickley mark.  This is a partial mark.  The mark consists of a joiners compass with the phrase "ALS IK KAN" inscribed within the middle of the compass.
